Yet more frustration
Alright. Now here's what REALLY ticks me off.
My aunt got a letter in the mail from American Girl saying that her payment could not be completed.
Then, my aunt realized:
"Oh, whoops. I left off a digit on my credit card number!"
................................. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?!?
Here I am, missing my Josie so much it makes me SICK. And then here comes Auntie, saying "oops!".
Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
AG said she'd be home in a few days.
It's already been two since they called.
Hopefully, she'll be here tomorrow.
Thanks for being patient with me. :)

Frustration
AAAHHHHHGGGGGBRGKHDGSZNDKJSHNSD!!!!!!!
Sorry about that.
I'm just really frustrated.
Okay, first of all, I miss Josefina like CRAZY. Gah, I know I've missed her like crazy before, but if she doesn't arrive within the next two days, I will seriously call American Girl. Because on Tuesday it will have been four weeks exactly...... BUT I'LL BE OUT OF TOWN!!!!! She needs to get here.... today or Sunday.
And second, I just learned that she won't be arriving by UPS. She'll be getting here by FedEx instead. Which is really worrying to me, because the last time a package arrived to us by FedEx, the delivery man literally grabbed the package out of the truck by the corner of the box, and ripped it. THEN he proceeded to chuck the WHOLE BOX (which contained Victorian-era teacups!!!!) up to our porch, but it missed and hit our car before landing on its side on the concrete. The guy then DROVE AWAY. Didn't even pick the darn package back up and put it rightfully in it's place!!! And guess what? ALL BUT ONE teacup was broken! And these teacups were from 1887. My aunt had paid about $1,000 for them.
So, I'm kind of freaking out here. It's too late to request a delivery service change (contact AG Playthings about that) and it's just, AAAARRGGGGG!!!!
Anyways, sorry about the huge frustration rant. Other than that, everything's been going fine.
GAHHHHH!

Updates
Hey, long time no post!
Sorry about that. I've been busy with back to school things, as well as helping out at home and stuff. But I do have some.... interesting updates to share with you.
Well, American Girl called my aunt and told her that in order to fix Josefina's hair, they'd need to replace her head. Head-replacing is against my beliefs as I think that replacing the head is like replacing the doll entirely. I'm a bit disappointed that they couldn't fix her hair... but at least her leg will be back on good as new.
So guess what that means?
Have you guessed yet?
No? Okay.
When Josefina gets back, I will rewig her. Not too exciting, for you maybe... but for me? HUGE. Josefina is the one whom I have bonded with the most... and she wasn't even my own doll to begin with. But I'm hoping I can find a Josefina-lookalike wig that will be just perfect... I don't want to stray too far from the original Josefina.
Also, I still haven't found an Elizabeth yet. I'm really starting to get nervous, because I have both Lanie and Elizabeth to get before the year ends. And if any of you have been keeping up with American Girl Playthings, most people are betting that Elizabeth will sell out first. Which makes me really nervous money-wise.
Back to Josefina, I know, I know.
Her sisters miss her terribly. There's an empty space for where our dear Josefina sits on the doll bench... which makes me quite sad to pass by. I have a substitute Josefina though, as terrible as it sounds. She's not AG, in fact, I'm not really sure what she is. She is an 18" doll who I've named HaLeigh and I rescued her from a freebox in Minnesota. It's really sad how people can just toss out a pretty doll like her... her hair is positively ruined from previous adoration/abuse. So that makes two dolls I need to rewig... whoops, nevermind, THREE! I seem to have forgotten my PM Felicity with that annoying hair loss. Ugh.
Anyways, when AG called, they said she'd be home pretty soon! I am so excited to see her whole again!
God bless :)

Updates
No recent tracking news on Josefina, but I can assume that she has left Wisconsin? See, last time, it was in 2004 or 2005... don't know how long it took. But I miss that little girl super duper much. Now I know why people have issues with sending their doll away... but I'm so glad that it will be worth it :)
My friend Adah is letting me babysit her Elizabeth doll while she's at her grandmother's house! I'm really happy, because now I can actually see an Elizabeth doll face to see what names would go well for her. I'm thinking she looks like a Haven, but I'm really unsure.
Also, I went shopping earlier today and bought two Iwako erasers! They are two hamsters whom I named Sushi (the orange one) and Yumi (the yellow one). Sushi is a gift for Felicity because of her archival, and Yumi is going to be for Josefina when she gets back from the Doll Hospital. Hopefully that'll be SOON!
Anyways, toodle-oo!
